I'm fascinated with replication of patterns, and how we can see a patterns such as this within leaf veins, human circulation systems, rivers and tributaries, hills and valleys, and even the built human environment.
Catia has recently rekindled an interest in photography that began in her high school years. She enjoys capturing images from her garden, nature, and traveling. She is having a great time discovering macro photography and post-production, and using basic editing tools to bring out elements of the images that lie just below the surface. She enjoys finding the simplicity in complex images and finding the abstractions in everyday scenes.
